Traffic fines in Delhi differ slightly from those in the rest of the country. As the national capital, the city witnesses thousands of vehicles passing through it daily, which has a significant impact on the local environment.
To ensure that Delhi’s environment does not become excessively polluted, the Transport Department has taken several measures, including the imposition of heavy penalties on unfit vehicles and strict action against those lacking a PUC certificate.
To ensure that only those vehicles complying with all RTO regulations enter Delhi, the fines have been kept somewhat stringent. Here, we have shared the fines applicable for various traffic violations and related details.
