How to pay tariff fines in Punjab?
In Punjab, the traffic can be paid offline by visiting the nearest regional transport office or traffic police station, and online tariff fine payment services are also available in Punjab. You can do so through the e-Challan portal, the mParivahan mobile application, and any UPI payment application.
To pay the traffic fines offline in Punjab, you are required to visit in person just with your vehicle registration number. If you have any of the challan number, DL number, or vehicle number, you can pay traffic fines easily. The available payment gateways for online traffic fine payment are debit/credit card, NET banking and UPI.
How to pay Punjab traffic fines through the e-Challan portal?
In order to make payment of the Punjab traffic fines in 2026 through the e-Challan portal, go through the step-by-step instructions:
- Go to the e-Challan portal at https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/.
- On the homepage, you will see an option that reads ‘Pay Online’. Tap on it and get redirected to the next page.
- Now, you will be asked to enter your Challan Number, Vehicle Number or DL Number; fill in any of them.
- Enter the CAPTCHA, as shown on the webpage. Verify all the details and click on the Get Details button.
- A list of all Punjab traffic fines for your vehicle will be before you. Tap on the one which you want to pay.
- Choose the payment gateway as a debit/credit card, NET banking or UPI, and make the payment.
